DiscoveringDigits is a math website for elementary school-age kids, their parents and their teachers.

DiscoveringDigits.com respects and protects the privacy of our users. We encourage other sites to join us in this effort.

Collection, Use, and Disclosure of Information - Our kid-friendly site, magazine and online features are specifically designed for kids. The only use we make of personal information (usually email addresses) is to respond one time to a question or request for information from a child, or to award prizes in a game or sweepstakes featured on our site. We never provide contact information to third parties.

Parental Consent If we decide to collect personal information for other reasons, we will notify parents that it is being requested, disclose the reasons for collecting it, and disclose our intended use for it. We will seek parental consent before collecting any personally identifiable information. If we do collect it, parents may request information about the type of data being collected, view their child's information, and, if they choose, prohibit us from making further use of their child's information. We never provide personal information to third parties.

U.S. federal law prohibits us from requiring kids to give any more personal information than is necessary to participate in a given activity.

We make every effort to ensure that outside links are to kid-appropriate sites. These outside sites may collect personal information.

The Information We Request

  • We will only collect address data from a parent, teacher or guardian
  • We ask for the students' email address - which can be the parents' if you so choose
  • We ask for the students' first name, which can be fictitious
  • No student data is ever shared with anyone
