  • DiscoveringDigits Magazine - offers 10 publications a year that are full of fun facts, articles, and enriching math activities that relate to and compliment the various activity centers included on the Web site.
  • Web site - DiscoveringDigits.com offers various Activity Centers within the town that focus on enriching the student's knowledge of math. We've also included a Challenge Center that helps students enhance their math skills through intervention based testing.

The following learning sections are available in both the magazine and on the website.

  • Sports Center - monthly articles and enriching math activities centered on sports
  • Money Matters - monthly articles and enriching math activities centered on investing and banking
  • Body Basics - monthly articles and enriching math activities centered on nutrition and physical health
  • Arts & Entertainment - monthly articles and enriching math activities centered on various forms of art/entertainment.
  • Family Focus - Fun family math challenge or math enriching activity that encourages the family to include math in every day life. Participation can result in being published in our magazine.

  • Challenge Center - encourages students to tackle and keep track of the various areas of computation they my need some help with. The tests are written according to NCTM standards and designed to offer intervention based teaching. Students may even challenge their friends, family and teachers to take fun tests that help them master math!
