Mission

DiscoveringDigits is devoted to helping students master computation skills through immersion in web-based and printed materials. Students are encouraged to challenge their abilities to be "masters of computation" through both intervention and enrichment materials.

It is our passionate goal to make digits, numbers, and mathematics a fun, engaging, challenging, and rewarding pursuit for students in 3rd through 8th grades. We propose to accomplish our mission through the enriching activities offered in our creatively designed magazine and its corresponding Web site, as well as our online Challenge Center, which offers intervention-themed testing.

• DiscoveringDigits will help students improve their computational skills so that their understanding of higher mathematics is not hindered by their lack of abilities to do basic computation. Click here if you'd like to take a tour of Digit Town to learn more.

• Parents are provided with resources as well to help their child improve in their mathematical abilities.
